Mom had to go out on Saturday and Auntie Heather came to see us. It was lovely and me and my puppies got so much hugs! Thanks Auntie H xxx

10th July

I have the feeling all hell is about to break loose, my babies are waddling around now and starting to get quite strong! Mum has started to put odd things in the box- she says it's to given them new visual stimulation- huh!!??

5th July

My babies eyes are opening now and Mom tells me all hell will break loose soon. They are very busy little things and are real piglets with food. She says it will be worming time for puppies soon- I dont think they get it as part of a yummy drink like I did...

3rd July

We had our first escapee from the Whelping Box, Crush managed to climb out over the low entrance strut so Mom has added an extra strut that was provided with the box. On the subject- here is a photo of my whelping area- isn't it wicked! I love my little hidey hole. Puppies are all well. Mom has noticed that Squirt has rear dewclaws but I told her she is to leave them well alone- no touching my babies! I love being a Mom. My favourite people have been over and I have showed off my babies- Auntie Yvette came to see Crush yesterday and he was on really good behaviour. Must dash now as it's my break from puppies and I need a snooze on the sofa...

29th June

Why won't mum take me for a walk yet- I am caring perfectly for my babies and when she goes out I am ready and rushing to the door for a walk- Mom says not yet- she sucks... All my puppies are perfect, chubby and cute. I am so proud and rush over to show them off to any visitors. It's very hot at the moment so mum is constantly working hard to keep the temperature in the room correct for us all- I am hot all the time though- phew!

26th June

The vet lady came to see me yesterday- she has said me and my babies are perfect- which I knew of course! Dur!

25th June

Last night went just fine. Mom was panicking and she tried to sleep downstairs but worried and woke up at every squeak from my puppies, she is so silly. I knew what I was doing and just gave her a look that I hope said 'chill mum, it's under control'! Eventually she accepted that I was ok and went upstairs, I think she was still concerned though. Today I am feeling much better and very recovered from the labour. I came for a quick cuddle on the sofa and pretended I was cool about leaving my pups but they squeaked and I went dashing back to feed them, mom giggled at me.

24th June

Well, I made mum jump as my puppies came early! My temperature dropped by half a degree centigrade last night and she thought something was up. This morning I was all restless and didn't want Mom to leave me. Mom told Dad she thought I was in labour, he didn't believe her but she does know me well. I found it all very easy actually and my first puppy was here by 9.40am. He is a very handsome red merle dog. The other three arrived within two hours of my first. I am such a clever girl! I'm a very relaxed Mom and was happy to go out for a stretch in the garden a few hours after my last pup arrived but I did have to keep checking on my babies. I loved my whelping area. Mom couldn't believe how clean I stayed, I cleaned as I went isn't that what women do? Mom says she will post some photos for me :) Anyway, I cant stay and chat- I have BABIES to look after- must dash x bfn (Note from Mum- photos of puppies are on Smoketrail Litter page)

18th June

My whelping box is coming from 'Steel City Whelping Boxes' and the poor man there has had to put up with Mum panicking it wont be here in time and she has really rushed him. Mom says they are really good coz they are made of something called upee vee cee (whatever that is) and apparently very hygienic. She also has Newspaper roll ends which she says is easier and cleaner than old printed newspapers. The lovely man at Newbury Weekly News gave them to her for free! She is taking my temperature each day and has a huge pile of towels, vetbed and a huge box with lots of odd looking bits and pieces in it. Mom promises to take photos once my box/ den etc are all set-up in the conservatory. Ps I still haven't calmed down yet... ;)

14th June

Mum brought me some new vetbed today for the puppies. Heather thinks it's a gross colour but I like baby pink and blue :) Mom took photos of me the other day and I look so cute- what do you think? There is also a picture of me on my puppy page Boo x Hoax (Smoketrail Litter)

13th June 2009

I am starting to feel big now and my babies are wriggling and kicking me a lot. Mom says she can feel them when I am having my sofa cuddles. I like laying on my back with Mommy stroking my belly! She has ordered my whelping box now and it should be here by next week. Better not take long as those puppies will be here soon!

The organisation continues and Mum says she has no time what with looking after Ethan and arranging things for a BBQ this weekend and arranging puppy stuff, just wait til the pups are here, then she will know busy ;) She is spoiling me lots though and has brought me a new collar. It's pink with cupcakes on it. I would have just preferred the cupcakes themselves. I do look cute in it though. Apparently mum is giving me wormer now- she says its in my food but I eat so fast at the moment I dot care what else is on it!!!

Mum says she is getting organised now and has started ordering stuff for me. She tells Dad it is all very necessary but I think she is just enjoying spending money on me. My belly continues to expand but I am still as crazy as ever and enjoying my walks. However I love my cuddles even more than ever, mum says I should get lots of them all the time.
